spots leftOur month long classes focus on the building blocks of pottery, utilizing techniques such as slab, coil, pinch and wheel throwing to construct projects centered around a monthly theme. Your child will learn to develop their projects in various stages throughout the course of the month. Weeks one and two will work with fresh clay to begin their creations. In week three they will focus on details, modifying and altering their work in a leather hard state. The final week will be surface decoration and glazing of bisqueware to bring their finished projects to life!
